The Southern Utah Shooting Sports Park (SUSSP) is a publicly owned and operated facility adjacent to the Washington County fairgrounds.
The Rifle- Pistol Venue is a 200 yard shooting range open to the public during scheduled operating hours.
Any legal firearms and ammunition are allowed on this range. This range is supervised by Range Safety Officers for your safety and the safety of others. This is the venue for shooting your pistols and rifles "at will" without being part of an organized match or event.
Safety first
Your safety and enjoyment are
our primary concerns. The Rifle- Pistol Venue is supervised by NRA trained RAnge Safety Officers. They, the RSOs, are here to help make your experience at the Rifle- Pistol Venue a safe and enjoyable experience. The RSOs are firearm enthusiats just like you and want to keep the shooting sports alive and well for many generations to come. We ask you to listen to them and follow their instructions as to ensure an enjoyable shooting outing. Upon entering the Rifle- Pistol Venue you will be greeted by an RSO and invited to sign in and review the range rules.
Eye and Ear protection must be worn at all times on the firing line, this includes non-shooters as well. Please plan to bring these items with you. If you forget yours we have ear plugs and eye protection for sale and a limited amount for loan.
Target holders, backing and staplers are availabe for all shooters. You may bring your own targets or purchase our range standard targets.
